Wylde Green Angling Club
A true diamond with fishing being a big part of Richard's life and in 2019 won nearly all the trophies going. Richard was always there to help when Nic had his operation and would be the first running back and forth getting his tackle to his peg for him, as well as ensuring everyone else was set up. Last year we had several new members, John, Roy, Dan and Scott, Richard was the first to welcome them and made them feel part of the club from the very first day.
Richard would usually arrive at the venue first with Les, walking round and then pegging out, a thankless take but took the ribbing off every body. The last match was the Winter League at Alvechurch, it was cold, wet, driving rain and very windy but Richard was there till the last. Richard will be extremely missed on the bank by all of us at WYLDE Green Angling Club.
A true friend to all, you will never be forgotten.
